If you like to knit or crochet we welcome you to join Sharing the Warmth. We meet monthly and knit and crochet – all for a designated cause. It is a wonderful way to catch up with friends, meet new people and appreciate donating what you make to charity. In October the group donated 63 hand knit and crocheted afghans to YWCA of Union County to benefit women and childhood victims of abuse. The blankets will help to keep the recipients warm and loved throughout the winter.
Sharing the Warmth meets at the Library in the Meeting Room. As a sponsored group of the Friends, all yarn is provided and distributed out at the group events. To learn more visit Sharing The Warmth or contact Diane Weinberg, the committee chair, at friendsofwml@gmail.com.
