The Friends is a group of volunteers whose mission is to create public interest in the Westfield Memorial Library and to assist the library in best meeting the needs of our community.

Your tax-deductible contribution will help provide the following:

  • Annual donations to the library to help with the purchase of equipment, furnishings and materials
  • Quality children’s programs
  • Adult lectures in the Hale Speaker Series
  • Little Free Libraries – Take a book – share a book located around town
  • Scholarship funding for future librarians
  • Books-on-Wheels (delivering books/CDs/DVDs to home bound residents)
  • Share the Warmth a knitting/crocheting group that makes blankets for young cancer patients and others who would benefit from some extra warmth
  • Museum Pass Program–one of the largest and best in the state
  • Black History Month program
