Book Sales

Each year The Friends of the Westfield Memorial Library host two book sales, the Spring Book Sale and the Children’s and Teens’ Book Sale.  Annual Westfield community events, these sales are both a way to support the Friends of the Library and to foster the joy of reading. All proceeds go to fund the various programs and events the Friend support which you find on this website.

Our sales offer benefits too.  By collecting donations to create our inventory our sales provide a wonderful opportunity for the Westfield community to recycle books. The sales are run by Friends members and always need more volunteers to help. Students  that require community service hours and employees with volunteer programs always enjoy volunteering at the book sales. In addition to great prices our sales offer special shopping days to encourage all readers to update their bookshelves, teachers included.

In the Spring we run the larger of the two,  the Spring Book Sale, which offers used books, CDs, DVDs and audio books for all ages. You’ll find books and media on just about all subjects and available in hardcover, trade and paperback. In the Fall we put on the Children’s and Teens’ Book Sale which focuses on just the children and teen audience.

We look forward to seeing you at one or both sales throughout the year.
